Kige the "best of his era" comments in the thread. Comparing coaches from different eras invariably sells some short IMO.

In an era of parity BB has one losing season with the Patriots and has averaged 12 wins per season for a dozen years

Paul Brown. Period.

Take a look at how many ways he changed the game. Won TWO titles with his AAFC browns. Any idea what a feat that was? I doubt Lombardi could have done it. Or Halas.

Graham passed alot. Eagles coach called them a basketball team. So when they played, Brown called nothing but running plays. They killed the Eagles.

Take a look at how many coaches came from the Paul Brown tree. Bill Walsh, Chuck Noll, Shula, Weeb Eubanks. How many NFL rings in that group? 12?

Then there are the innovations in the game and plays he invented. Look 'em up.
