both have good players but i wasn't impressed by how they played. Both are easy regional outs from what I've seen. Tulanes staff threw pretty well today though.

Pretty well? Well I didnt see any of the game but Rick Jones said Leblanc was dominant. I'm going out on a limb and saying he's a much better judge than you.

You definitely were when you said neither team was worth a shite. Seeing as how you've seen them play one game I dont really hold that opinion very highly. They've played 11 games, its pretty early.

I'm an lsu fan, my friend...it's not in my nature to give either one of these teams any credit....I do hope its nothing serious with Leblac..he's pretty good.

Oh, I thought this was serious discussion. Since I hate LSU I'll be sure to come here the 1st time they lose and just say they suck then.

I have talked to three different scouts and they all said that LSU has no pitching and will not be .500 in SEC play. and get this — is an easy out come post season play ... Time will tell.

Which is pretty much what I've been trying to say all along. Most teams have played about 10 games thats not enough time to tell how most teams will finish.
ETA: and I hope those scouts are right.

I know people are going to flip the frick out when they read this, but I'm going to say it anyway...Our staff isn't in great shape right now. Sure we've scored a lot of runs etc. but teams have left a TON of RISP against us...Good teams get those runs home...we're gonna see where we're at next weekend. I hope I eat my words.

ETA: Any scout that thinks we're going to be an easy out at tourney time shouldn't be listened to very closely.

Early word from my sources is that Leblanc may be done for the year .. Elbow injury .. He will be back in New Orleans tomorrow to undergo more tests ...

I'm pretty confident we'll take 1 or 2 against CSF but I really think we are going to have to grind...a la UC Irvine last year in the regional. I think we'll be ok with McCune and Gaussman on the mound but I count on losing the game CSF throws Noe Ramirez...so probably the friday game. Thinking we should just throw someone besides McCune or Gaussman on friday and try to win the other two

well if you guys finish 6th or 7th in the SEC that means no home regional which means easy out .. IMHO ...

eta: Of course LSU could host as a two seed ....

I don't see that happening, honestly. We're the best in the West...the East is scary loaded though.

that LA regional was brutal last year...i don't want that to happen again.

possibly .. They seemed to think that Arkansas was the class of the West and Auburn, LSU and Ole Miss where are the same level. Of course you have to play the games to find out

Fullerton wins 7-3 tonight! Tyler Pill goes 7 giving up 3 hits and allowing 1 earned run while striking out 7. Dylan Floro comes in to work the last 2 and gives up 1 hit and 0 earned runs.

Really liking the way that Fullerton is playing. Going to be a great series next weekend!
