That is not true at all.

He wasn't just being a homer. As of a week ago, he actually thought that the Mavs were the second best team in the west. Some of that might have been a little bit of him being a homer, but I really don't think so.
And I guarantee you most of the NBA fans on this board know more than him.

i actually think he knows a good bit, but you can't take anything he says about the Mavs seriously.
and what exactly was his wager/promise?

Actually he's without question one of the most knowledgeable NBA Posters on the entire board when he's not talking about Dirk or the Mavs (which is very rare).
Stop enabling him. I bet you were the type of twerp who always stepped in and broke up fights in gradeschool.
Ghazi is a horrible poster all across the board - probably worse than StrongSafety all things considered.

I disagree completely. His opinions are just different than everybody else's, so people automatically discount them, but in general they are intriguing. Its when he just repeats the same shite over or drastically misuses words like cuckold a million times it makes him seem less intelligent. I'm pretty sure he does those things not because he isn't intelligent, but just to get under people's skin.
Basically GHAZI is on another level that most can't appreciate.

I toned it down because I don't really have anything against Roughneck except his horrible taste in sports teams.
But yeah, I hate how when Ghazi makes a non-retarded post 1 out of every 50 times he types something, you have these dumbfricks coming out of the woodwork saying "SEE! GHAZI KNOWS HIS shite!"
Ummm, no. Not really. Most everybody knows the "knowledge" that Ghazi displays in his 2% non-horrible posts. Stop giving him props for something that nobody else gets props for

Give me a break. You are telling me that he's some Andy Kaufman-esque comedic genius that we just "dont get"?
GTFO. He sucks. His material is not clever or witty. You are really reaching with this "we don't understand/get Ghazi" angle.
Again, he gets way too much credit for his "The 2006 NBA Finals were rigged". Everybody recognizes that was the worst officiated sporting event in history of major US sports. Stop acting like he's some goddamned genius for bringing it up every week.

I get GHAZI pretty well, and I think a few other people on here do too like Roughneck. MJC is another one. I don't agree with most of what he says, but he does have well informed opinions on everything except the Mavs/Dirk.

And David West/Hornets. And Israeli/Palestinian politics. And a trillion other things.
