I'm so tired of seeing the Jackie Smith play cited as some game changer. It was in the 3rd quarter. It did not cost the Cowboys the game.
Yepremian should be #1. That actually put the game in jeopardy.

The whole game of Super Bowl 5.by far the worst SB ever played.

He didn't try to leg whip anyone. What happened was he was behind a pile reached over the pile to grab the runner and as he lunged his leg got trapped under the pile the running backs momentum pulled him over the pile while his leg stayed trapped and broke clean. Nothing dirty about the play and it happened early in the game. It might've cost them the game because he was a very good player and the heart of the defense but there was nothing dirty about the play at all. Watch the nose guard that's him.
