Fact: Romo has the highest fourth-quarter passer rating among active quarterbacks. And it’s not even close. His 102.1 rating is more than five points higher than the second man on the list, Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers.
quote:

Those numbers compare favorably with those put up by (Eli) Manning, even though Manning set an NFL record with 15 fourth-quarter touchdown passes last season. Manning’s career fourth-quarter passer rating: 84.6.

Romo also has the 4th highest overall passer rating in history. Behind only Aaron Rodgers, Steve Young, and Peyton Manning. Yes. He's above Tom Brady.

More proof that Romo isn't the problem. Best 4th quarter passer rating in the history of the game.

He padded those stats again today. As he went 7/9 for 90 yards and a TD on the Cowboys' game winning drive.

Yep. That's why all those "bad" QB's are at the top right? We all know Steve Young, Aaron Rodgers, and Peyton Manning are trash.

Last week Terrelle Pryor went 10/19, averaged 4.6 yards per pass with zero touchdowns and two interceptions, and had a QBR of 96.2.

Flawless.

This thread was a failure the moment you mentioned QBR, because now that will be the focal point. Couldn't you just use passer rating?

QBR is a joke, but Romo is a really good QB.

Actually his rating was 25.2. There are two different types. They use the 2nd for stats. What they have listed as the "QBR" on ESPN is the old version.

Way to need a miracle to beat a 1-8 team.

Call me in December or when he can do it to a real team

THIS is why you idiots think he is clutch. He's money against the Vikings, Browns, and Buccaneers.

I wasn't aware we played the Vikings, Browns, and Buccaneers in every 4th quarter.

Go look at the box score for the Dallas game on ESPN. They don't have the QBR listed because it's not a "real" stat now. They go by the passer rating. Romo had a passer rating of 90.1 today. By the same token, Pryor had a passer rating of 25 in the game you mentioned. I messed up and called Passer Rating the QBR at first.
