Tips for LSU fans struggling with no bowl game

As a guy who has spent most of my life watching my favorite team not play in bowl games, I’m a bit of an expert. Here’s a list of things you can say to show people you don’t actually care about it:
1. Most teams actually lose money on bowl games.
2. Everybody knows the committee is biased against (insert conference) teams.
3. It’s ok, Christmas is about spending time with your family. Football season is too long.
4. Whatever, there are too many bowl games anyway.
5. I’m more of a Saints fan anyway.
6. College baseball is actually my favorite season. Only 2 months away!
7. We actually were a play or two away in several games. We could actually very easily be in a bowl game.
8. The NCAA is only targeting us to take away attention from Alabama’s cheating.
9. Talk a lot about Tyrell Fenroy’s rushing stats.
10. College football has turned into a minor leagues. I miss the days of true amateurism. By the way, where are all the white cornerbacks?

We could just do what we’re actually doing and really just not care. Don’t need an excuse if that’s just the natural feeling. In fact, if you read the rant, a lot of people are very happy the season ended when it did.

Well, it never probably applied to the Ragin Cajuns, but the most obvious reason this year is the self imposed bowl ban
Personally, I was more disappointed in the suck arse bowl ULL was invited to attend.
I mean, why not have them play Coastal to decide a true champion, or at the very least a true share of their conference championship.
FTR, I actively pull for all LA programs when given the chance.

Here’s some info- when they came up with the ULL, ULM idea, SLU and McNeese were asked to play along. They both declined bc they thought one school in particular would try to be “Louisiana.”
