After a day game you can go behind the stadium where the player's come out there parking garage. They will stop and sign a couple items for kids.

When gates open go down to front row on 1st base about 1 section over from end of dugout. Fans will be there to get autographs. Astros usually send 2 and sometimes 3 players over to give autographs.

Season ticket holders know the routine and don't get to their seats until autographs are over. Security allows people to go down to this area without tickets in this section. Once the players leave the area security gets everyone to go up unless they have a ticket for that section.

Really is hit or miss if you get selected because there will probably be 100 to 150 people trying to get autographs. Benefit to getting down there as soon as the gates open is you can get your son down into position A... positioned on the wall the players walk up to. He would have a pretty good shot at getting an autograph or two.

This is the only place you will get an autograph before the game from an Astro. Similar on visitor side but they don't really do that many autographs unless the player is from Houston.

Good luck!!

If a night game, players will sign at the garage entrance when arriving at the field. This will be at 1:00-2:00PM. It will be hot but worth it. We stumbled upon this after a tour of the Astrodome when I was a kid. I was able to get Bagwell, Biggio, Berkman, and even Randy Johnson during his short stint with the Astros. It was the highlight of my summer when I was a kid.
