Still not sure. All depends if anyone wants to push bode. I think Iha is versatile enough to lay close, but I'm worried they'll both wear out and set up for someone else.
With the exception of big brown, I always want the derby winner to win

Me too... but i don't think IHA has a shot.
ETA: I hope one day I get a chance to see a modern day Secretariat.

ok, i have the PPs for all of the Pimlico races on Saturday. who needs them?

Probably won't happen.
They have to be treated more carefully now. Horses used to run every week. Now, most (not the lower claimers) get about a month between races.
Why you think he has no shot?
2 good races in Cali with stiff long workouts between. If he hadn't been worked like that, I wouldn't have bet him in the Santa Anita and the derby. He has as much of a shot as anyone else.

He's in the need for speed stakes. Solar something. I think they recently got him.
I'll probably be there by the 2nd or 3rd

But why do y'all say that?
He has as much a shot as about 6 others.

Just a gut feeling... hopefully it's gas!

He's showing the same good energy in his gallops.
Was clocked in his open gallop quarter in 28 yesterday and 26 and some today. That was bode's closing quarter in the derby!
The only edge I can give him, though, is he's still a fresh horse. Bode had a busy few months.

I can make a good argument for about 6 of them, though

from Jay Cronley:

Here's your Preakness field by post position.
It's like Derby Lite.
1. Tiger Walk (30-1): Won two in Crab City.
2. Teeth of the Dog (15-1): Hair of the Dog would go off shorter.
3. Pretension (30-1): Cured maiden status with nifty 29 Beyer at Charles Town.
4. Zetterholm (20-1): Trounced four in N.Y.
5. Went the Day Well (6-1): Went the Derby late.
6. Creative Cause (6-1): Has been producing boring reruns.
7. Bodemeister (8-5): Hurry wire.
8. Daddy Nose Best (12-1): Daddy nose Sunland.
9. I'll Have Another (5-2): Sharp cookie.
10. Optimizer (30-1): Should have made a left and gone to Penn National.
11. Cozetti (30-1): Couldn't outrun me.

At Churchill I'll Have Another ran the final quarter in 25.99. Went The Day Well did it in 24.84. WTDW also had a terrible time out of the gate and then in traffic, while IHA got an absolute perfect trip. This one is a no-brainer. IHA doesn't have a shot, IMO. Unless of course that "shot" comes from one of O'Neill's needles.
