Rafa hot shot.

He hits that shot in quite bit a bit. Tha one he hit against Stan in the RG final was one of the most disgusting shots I've ever seen. He was pulled like 8 feet wide, and hit basically the same shot as the on you linked except without looking at all, and about as hard as a forehand can be hit (approaching the Delpo asymptote).

That backhand by Stan was picture perfect. There's nothing else could have done with that ball short of putting a spell on it.

This is still my favorite even though it’s more defensive in nature and probably “luckier”.

This isn't all that surprising or sexy, but Kafelnikov is one of the guys under scrutiny in some of the match-fixing reports. He was Davydenko before Davydenko. I'm not even saying these guys were greedy dudes trying to scrounge up every dollar they could get. They made enough money off of tennis, anyway. I just think the mob leaned on them a bit here and there and it was probably easy to sprinkle in some tanks with all of those matches. I'm much more curious about a dude sitting at 80 in the world who can't resist the money.

Kei v. Novak should be interesting. Kei is favored.

Pouille is so weird and random. Gizmo's boy Benny P shook him.

I hypothetically had Schwartz in a play this morning.

May toss in a little Andujar as well.

I’m going with Diego to grab a set from Rafa because...
1. The quicker conditions suit him
2. It’s enough of a longshot to make for a cool prediction
3. No real $$ will be involved

Djoker wins what looks like a tough 2 hour straight setter.

I wouldn't be surprised if Rafa failed to win this one. I could see delpo beating him.

Hot take alert. Thiem will never win a slam with his current coach.

Thiem is talented but his game revolves almost entirely around just hitting every ball as hard as he can. Needs more variety and different strategies that can be used as needed.

He was on serve and a point from being up 5-4 twice. Sadly that’s closer than most guys have gotten lately.

I just watched the entire match against Schwartzman. Yes, Nadal is playing great but he is beatable. This was a pretty competitive match.

Eta Nadal is getting tremendous depth on his groundstrokes right now. He was most vulnerable in the past when a lot of his groundstrokes were landing inside the service line

You would think so, but this is usually when Rafa turns it up a notch. I just hope Thiem can keep it close this time around. He definitely has nothing to lose.
