Down goes Tennys, but hey, 17000 Euros will pay for a little room and board while in Europe.
I saw that coming like I saw the trip to wal-mart to get the crabs kit coming after I banged this chick with a full-blown amazon bush.
Did that analogy work?
ETA: to be fair, I'm actually a fan of some bush. Will take that 70s fur pie over the bald eagle any ole day. But there are limits.

I wonder what he's gonna do till Barcelona? Play practice sets with guys still in the draw?
That reminds me of a little known fact that Rafa used Tennys as his hitting partner at RG in 2009. Specifically sought him out twice.

I had a faint-hearted play on Goffin, and it ended up hitting, but I'm not likely to make a habit of betting against Tsitsipas. Dude is real.

Very nice win for the elder Zverev.

There’s nothing even remotely impressive about seeing that coming. It was common sense even among people who barely follow tennis. That’s why the odds were -450 when they should have been more like -150.

I didn’t imply it made me smart or special. Only that I did in fact see it coming, and that wal-mart does in fact carry pubic lice kits, which I only know cause I heard it from a friend.

Such an interesting FH groundstroke. Almost looks like he is playing mini when he takes the racquet back.

More shots fired...
Djokovic on Thiem: "He's one of the best players in the world in general. Obviously top three on this surface."

Thiem Djokovic on a Thursday morning steaming on the work computer. Nice.

Joker actually looks like he’s coming around, but there’s only one guy who is beating Thiem at the French this year.

Finally seems like he might have gotten a hold of his fitness. He looked heavy last year, then crazy thin at the AO. I like the all black too. (And I use his racquet. ha)

Says he made some racquet tweaks, but not sure exactly what.
Sounds like he lowered his string tension to me, but that sure doesn't bode well with the like 25 backhand errors he produced today.

I actually use his old racket (without all the added lead), which he may still use with the paint of the new model. Mine is 9.8 oz strung and I love it, so I’m pretty screwed if I ever want/need to switch since everything else is in the 11-12 oz range.

Yup, Joker is close

Did Milos withdraw due to a sore hymen?

just out of curiosity, what do you string that up with and at what tension?

Wish I had quick and easy answer, but I’m always trying things out. I’m only now playing at a level where I can see/feel the difference and inportance in string types. I’m currently playing with a half bed of natural gut for the first time ever, and love it.
If I had to choose a favorite, it would be a hybrid of Solinco Revolution and natural gut somewhere in the 51/49 tension range. I have it at 48/45 right now and it’s a little too loose. I wasn’t aware that gut loses some tension before it “sets in”. I wouldn’t be able to pay $40-50 per string job in the long run though.
For the past few years, I mostly used full poly or the cheapest poly/synthetic hybrids I could come up with that played moderately well. That racket tends to be more control-oriented and lacks power, so mid-to-high 40’s for tension works best for me.
Disclaimers:
I’m still a newb in the string world.
My game is unique. I have a forehand grip similar to Coric, and I hate it because I can’t hit winners. My kick serve is outrageous and it’s the only reason I’m a 4.5 player. So between the forehand and serve, I need a super light racket for the head speed, and the right strings/tension for the crazy spin.

Very low 4.5, and only because of doubles, so nothing special.
