Yes he is. Won in straight sets and looked good from the little I saw. Venus may need to hang it up. She lost to an out of shape chubby Bencic.

Sock is going nowhere fast.

That was actually a tough draw for Venus. Bencic should be in the top 10 and will be this year.

I know Bencic is good and Venus got an unlucky draw.

Halep injured trainer is working on her right now. She got taped up and has been playing about 20 minutes and everything seems fine.

Aiava quit on that match with Halep. I know Aiava is only 17 years old but she just flat out gave up and allowed that little Romanian get back in the match. I’ll be pulling hard for Genie Bouchard against Halep on early Thursday morning. I’m all in for Madison Keys and Genie Bouchard now that Vandeweghe and Venus are out.

Yes I concur Egg, Novak Chokeabitch looks like he’s back to his old self of playing dominating hard court tennis. I’m pulling for Fed and Stan the man though. I could live with Nadal winning his 16th Grand Slam also though but Novak Chokeabitch will be hard to beat.

Sock had a STRONG finish to 2017 and made the world tour finals. Might wanna pump the brakes on that.

I’m very glad to see Bouchard getting back to playing well because ever since the 2014 Wimbledon finals, she’s not been playing well at all. Although I must admit that I only pay attention to the four Grand Slam Majors. The Petkovic - Kvitova match is great right now.!

.....I only want to watch women's tennis if I desire the acquisition of balls depth in at least one of the participants.

I’m with you Genie Bouchard is incredibly beautiful but I don’t want Bouchard to just be another Anna Kournikova that is only known for her looks. I’d like Bouchard to kick arse at tennis and be gorgeous. I judge the women’s players on their tennis ability first then their looks.

Looks like Shapovalov/Tsonga and Djokovic/Monfils are the two biggest big-name matches of the 2nd round in the Men's draw.
