This makes too much sense to be true

The only thing Bama can prove in the "playoff" is that we needed more than four teams all along, and that it should never have been decided by a committee.

They can never prove they should've been in.

It's interesting because these two teams are perfect examples of how inconsistent the committee was in the same year.

LSU never would. Bama and OSU are the only programs that would even be considered a possibility in this situation and Bama the only one that has actually realized it

At least they are now admitting they get special treatment.

Looking back at the past 20 years, let's say coaches like Urban Mayer and hell, even Les frickin Miles, got the mulligans and second chances Bama does, how many titles would these guys have?

I'd say Urban would have at least one or two more.

Good, the game is going to be a glorified spring scrimmage with all of the opt outs. I don't blame any of them for not wanting to be involved.

Who should've been in over them?

Agreed.

Miles for sure would have won in 2011 if not for the first of many Bama mulligans

Then pay close attention to New Year's Day. BAMA will be the one dressed in White and Crimson vs Michigan. And just in case you have been too busy to notice, you will be playing Mizzou.

It would've been a good game, but LSU probably beats Oklahoma State.
