Talk and what writers write is cheap. It's what you do between the ropes that count.

He may never win another or he may win 18 more and break Jack's record.

That was one of the best Ryder Cup performances I have seen, he reminded me so much of Payne Stewart with how fired up he was. It was great to see Sergio butt handed to him because he had done a pretty good job of kicking ours the last few cups. I wished Pavin had picked Kim for the last Ryder Cup.

My beef is with the USGA on this not the players. Rory played a great tournament and it was fun to watch.

Yeah, he deserved to be on the team.

My favorite part of the Kim/Garcia first match in that last Ryder Cup we won involved Sergio being in a spot that possibly would have permitted a drop. Sergio said something to AK about a drop and AK simply shugged his shoulders and said, "watever" and walked away. AK just exuded confidence -- I hope he gets it back.

Didn't they used to follow Tiger on the fairway @ the US Open, on Sunday, on the 18th when he was winning and in the last group?

British Open and US Am do that, not the open

Choupique, slow down old man. He had one good week and you want to crown him as the best golfer to ever play the game.

I remember that exactly. Sergio was trying to get a questionable free drop at best.

AK was so into that match he didn't even know he had won the match.

Yeah Pavin should have picked Kim and Gay for the team.

Exactly. AK's "whatever" response may have well been, "Do what you want, I'm gonna stomp your dick in the dust no matter."

That did make me chuckle. I remember yelling at the TV, "Anthony, you just won, shake hands!"

Can you say +5 winning next year?

Rory's US Open scrore would have won 10 out the last 12 Masters outright and put him in a playoff the other two years.

He was just getting started on Sergio, you could tell there was no way Sergio was going to beat him that day. The scary thing was I heard he asked to play Sergio in singles.

That's an amazing perspective.

I like Rory a lot, but he's got a long way ahead of him. He's got the talent, but we'll see what happens. His future sure looks bright right now.

that's the kind of confidence I like. I understand that Rory wanted to go head to head with Tiger in the last Cup. I respected that, too.

On a completely different topic, I've had about enough of Tim Rosaforte. He comes across as a pompus, know-it-all, jerk to me. If he could speak 20 words with dropping a "name" I would be shocked.

What do you think of him?

I heard him once today, and had the exact same thought. I kinda thought he was a jerk.

Here is the one that is really shocking because you think of the PGA as a shootout. He would have won 50 out of the last 53 PGA championships.

We need a golf board.
