I don't feel like calling anyone an idiot right now or arguing

but I would say the same thing about federer in, what 2004 to 2008 or so, when he was number one for like 300 weeks

he didn't have any weaknesses then either

The high backhand has always been a weakness. Nadal exposed it, but it doesn't mean it wasn't there before.

I'll shut up now. I'm done arguing too.

why not just close the roof

takes too long to get the temp inside right so the court isn't all slippery and shite. just ride out the quick rain storm, then go from there

I just simply disagree. he was capable of timing the backhand so perfectly when he was a little younger that it never even got that high on him. maybe players just weren't hitting as much spin on the ball as nadal brought, but federer showed glimpses of the backhand he once had on a serve he returned of murray's in the first set. timed it just right, and used murray's power against him

it was a weapon then, now not so much

yea I'm done too

let's all enjoy these last three sets (hopefully)

So theyre in England..a place where it rains like 50% of the time..and it's the finals. Why not just have the roof closed from the beginning? One player usually has the momentum ..and that momentum is taken away by the delay...just don't understand.

It depends on the surface. But I would take Nadal.

Wow, good answer. Nadal was my answer for a long time -- 2008 and 2010 Nadal was nearly impossible to beat -- and it's still a very very very close call between peak Nadal and peak Djoke.

They said they don't want it to be an indoor tournament. They would rather have them playign outdoor matches.

i don't blame them at all. it just sucks that it takes so long during the delay to close the roof.

Agreed. The Aussie roof is quicker.

Who does the delay benefit? Since Big Mo had swung Roger's way I suspect it benefits Murray.

It benefits Murray from that perspective. It benefits Fed in that it speeds up the court.

Probably a wash.

Nobody has momentum they've been back and forth. I bet fed is icing his back though and energized and Murray is hydrating like a mofo and wants to sleep.

I just woke up. From glancing at a few different tennis forums it seems like some people are worried about Fed "keeping his back warm" during this break. Has he tightened up at all in this match? I only saw the last few games before the delay, and he looked fine IMHO. Also, seems like there's a little controversy over Murray getting favorable line calls
