If Lewis were to go out like this it would be more annoying that Kaepernick. The British F1 media would beg for his opinion everytime anything happened. Think Jacques Villeneuve type annoying with comments.

Like Lewis or not he has cemented his name in the GOAT conversation for the foreseeable future. Just because I don't think he is tGOAT doesn't mean millions upon millions of fans don't disagree with me. It at least gives the UK fans and Anglophiles someone besides Jim Clark, Jackie Stewart, and Grahan Hill to knight for. I not saying he's not a great (even historically great) driver. But, he and his team act like entitled bitches and if he sits out the vast majority of new fans of the sport (who have only come on in the last few years) are not going to care. He also had plenty that didn't care for him. If anything, it would make F1 for competitive.
