2007 Missouri > 2007 West Virginia

I never understand the boner for the Mountaineers over Mizzou that year. WV lost to a 5-7 team and South Florida.

Mizzou was #1 going into championship weekend and finished #4.

1994 Penn St doesn't deserve shite considering who was still on their coaching staff at the time.

Vince Young put on the greatest performance I've ever seen and Southern Cal was still a foot away from winning that game. They've got my vote.

If it weren't for the mulligan that would be a strong candidate for the GOAT college team. We would have wins against the PAC, Big East, and Big XII champs before there was a playoff.

There’s someone on the 1994 Penn State coaching staff that belongs on a list

To this day the greatest football game I've ever watched, college or pro. Such an epic masterpiece of a performance by Vince Young.

A historic arse whipping that exposed the team isn’t a mulligan. You have no QB, no offense really and you went through one of the easiest SEC schedules we’ve ever had and you’re the best team ever? Most overrated? They’re in that convo for sure but best? 2003 would’ve crushed them.

2011 LSU had offensive issues but they had dominant wins over

12-2 Pac 12 and Rose Bowl champs at a neutral site
10-3 Big East and Orange Bowl champs on the road
An Arkansas team that finished top 5
10-2 UGA in the SEC title game (obv a neutral site)

Plus that insane defense and beating Bama on the road.

They want BCS era teams, 2003 was a better team with better personnel. 2011 was the culmination of the Miles era, some people grew up with that era and romanticize that team, overrating them. Loved that defense but they weren’t as good as some believe.
