the Saints had won. That's how these things work.

Good grief this is going to be a boooooring NFC championship game.... two teams to which the Saints are definitely superior.

What a crappy week.

You must be new to the NFL, but very seldom do the best teams play for the championship, let alone win it.

Just stop. We are not obviously superior when we couldn't even win. Makes no sense. Coming from a fellow fan just let it go

Oh really? Then why is SF in the game again?

(Turnovers are not an excuse. They show that one team played better than the other, meaning they were the better team.)

That's a pretty arrogant statement. The Saints are 0-3 in their last three outdoor road playoff games. They haven't shown the ability to win away from the SuperDome in big games unlike a team like the Giants who have won big games on the road a number of times over the last five years.

Sorry Rex, the Saints defense disagrees.

Yeah, if you hate defense. Being a Saints fan, I understand though.

So the higher seeded team with a better record that beat the Saints is somehow deemed definitely not superior to the Saints?

I believe the Saints would beat the 49ers eight out of ten. Took five turnovers for the 49ers to win. No, those are not always forced... sometimes it's just crappy luck.

You lost because Alex fricking Smith had two touchdown drives in the final 4 minutes. No turnovers played into that.

Without the five turnovers the Saints would have hung at least 40 on that team.

I must have missed the turnovers where Brees said "Here, you guys can have this" and handed them the ball.

Come on, man. You're a good guy, but you're sounding downright gumpical here.
