The game was yesterday.

There was a memorable play.

It's on ESPN. The play is the play of the day.

The question is whether your boys won, and you are still basking in the glow, or the mere mention of the event is salt in the wound.

I turned on the TV explicitly to see not only the play, which is recorded, but to hear it celebrated.

You do that?
Any of you avoid sports center if your team lost the big game?

I used to avoid/go out of my way to watch Sportscenter after any Gamecock football game that I think they'd show.

But now with YouTube, ESPN.com etc., I just watch it that way.

I never watch Sportscenter or any sports highlight shows. I only watch ESPN when there are games on. When I want to watch highlights of a game, I usually watch it on YouTube.

I couldn't tell you the last time I've seen highlights of an LSU football loss.

To this day, the only "highlights" I've seen from 1/9/12 are gifs people post

If my team loses an emotional close game I don’t need to see any highlights.

If it’s a pretty historic play. Why not.

My fandom isn’t going to get in the way of sports history.

Unfortunately (or fortunately?) we really haven’t been even on the losing end of “sports history” too often because we haven’t gotten that far

It seemed like it was on 24/7 for a few days. Worst case.
Just reading your post reminds me of my daughter near tears, my housemate yelling at the tv to put in Lee at qb when it was 9-0.

I got on today to relish the quick kick in the euro club soccer/futbol semis.
