The way McDowell has talked Medlen will find his way back into the rotation at some point this year, but they wanted to build his arm strength back up first.

Yeah he will, he is still VERY young. I'm not giving up on him yet, the problem is Gonzalez having him so far down in the lineup

That's not making Jason hit .250. Jason could very well become the stud we all want him to. He's still crazy young. But he'll have to learn how to turn on an inside fastball consistently and lay off the breaking stuff in the dirt on the outside corner. He's just so maddeningly inconsistent between looking amazing and looking completely lost from one game to another.

Coming into the game Francisco was third among our position players in pitches per plate appearance at 4 per AB. And I'm not quite sure how, since he swings at everything.
And that was one of the dumber running mistakes I've seen in a long time.
