I'd be only OK with this if McLouth is included in the deal and they deal another arm (Mike Minor or Randall Delgado) instead of Beachy, but where would Quentin play? RF and move J-Hey to CF?

He's had a good OBP throughout his career. He's at .351 this year and his career OBP is .348. Adding power is nice but that's not really what we need.
The reason I don't want to do this is defensively. Heyward in center will not turn out well.
I just can't see us making this deal with how the defensive alignment would have to be.

If Wren did this I would personally drive down to his office and punch him in the throat. Even Omar Minaya wouldn't do something that stupid. We don't need a corner outfielder. Much less a corner outfielder who never gets on base and plays abysmal defense.

I agreed Id take Bourn or McCutchen over Quentin. We need a lead off hitter with some speed, which would put Prado in the 2 hole. I don't think Schafer is the answer although he would make an excellent 4th OF.

I hate Upton. He has a terrible BA and attitude. His defense isn't too spectacular either. Although he has good speed and a tad of power I would not want him on my team.

I think someone said the Rays are looking to move BJ Upton. If he was able to get his OBP back up to what it was earlier in his career he might be a decent fit. Depends on what they'd want for him though.
The CF question really doesn't have a good answer unfortunately. A dream scenario would be the current ownership group selling the team to someone like Arthur Blank or Mark Cuban who would be willing to spend. I'm not gonna hold my breath on that one. They are expected to sell the team before next season though, so who knows.

Negative. I love good baseball though. And Im anti-Rockies or any other NL West team. Plus im at the game and have 3 Braves on my fantasy team so I have no problem pulling for them.
