Agreed.
We called Gearin up, so hopefully he will perform.
Marek has dominated AAA.. not sure why he didn't get the call over Gearin. Hasn't allowed a run yet. 14.5 K/9. Insane numbers.

I don't know much about Marek but he can't be much worse than Linebrink. Linebrink had some great years for the Padres but I just don't see it, he looks very hittable, flat fastball and he doesn't locate it that well.
