Probably one of the few times we'll agree...Thank God that guy is gone. Worst. Hitting Coach. Ever.

LOL.

I hope Greg Walker is good. He did turn Adam Dunn into mush. I'm keeping my hopes up though.

I think Dunn did that to himself more than anything.

Yeah, I forget where I saw it, but Ozzie came out and said that there were noticeable issues the first day of Spring Training.

Kimbrel
Venters
O'Flaherty
Martinez
Medlen

are locked in to the bullpen per DOB. Asencio (out of options), Viz, Varvaro, and Fish (Rule V) battling it out for the last two spots.

You forgot Moylan. I think it's going to be him and Viz.

He is going to be out until like mid May.

Oh didn't know that. In that case Viz and Varvaro will get the last two spots. But also don't count out Dusty Hughes if we want another lefty in there.

If they want another lefty, it will be Fish since he is on the 40 man.

I'm thinking since Ascencio is out of options, it will be him and Viz to start the year. And if he screws up, Varvarro will be right there waiting.

Good points. I just think Varvaro will pitch his way in.

I try not to think about him because he is basically the reason we didn't make the playoffs last year.

Well, moreso because Fredi thought it wise to keep employing him.

Phew, sure glad we got rid of both those guys.

Oh wait, frick.

White Sox interested in Beachy

quote:

The Atlanta Braves have two proposals currently circulating, they would want either A: Alexei Ramirez + Brent Lillibridge + cash or B: Gavin Floyd and Jordan Danks. Looking at the Price that the braves are putting on the Sox I HIGHLY doubt that the Sox will get this deal done. The Braves are asking a for lot of offense, like I predicted, but the price is to high for the Sox in my opinion.
