Got text that just said "expect a McCann."

Frank Rabon of Talking Chop

McCann signed a 6 year extension+club option for 7th year in 2007.

Freddie Freeman’s extension with Braves will be for huge dollars. One source told me it is in $100 million range. @FOXSports1

And so it begins, the Braves gonna go down the road the Mets, Phils, and Nats have..getting tied to anvil sized contracts.

At least FF is young, on the rise, and appears as of now, well worthy of this deal..unlike the weaker Upton.

I am a fan of both deals... FF is deserving of that figure and I genuinely think he will be worth it over his career. Hell Votto is making like 8M more/year and they had comparable stats.

I am still wait and see with Heyward.

Yep, I like both of these a bunch. Hell, we are paying BJ barely less than what that Freddie deal would break down to average per year. Keep him through what should be his peak years and be able to let him walk at age 32ish.

I sure am glad I was the one that said the Braves would pay Freeman more than Heyward. I sure would have hated to be on the other side Lobster.

I will wager that Heyward will make close to if not more than Freeman when he reaches free agency.

What? Because he got a long term deal first?

Do the Giants value Scutaro more than Posey?
