Justin comes off a little like Andrew Jones did early in his career, things are so natural for him it looks like he isn't trying. The difference Braves fans hope for is that as he ages he learns not to get by on just talent and then starts putting in all the extra work that separates the good from great.
Disclaimer: I am not saying he doesn't do those things now because I've never read one way or the other if he has. Just making a generalized comment about how it appears.

Yep. That laziness resulted in him rapidly ballooning into the fatass he eventually became once the benefits of great genetics started wearing off.
If he had stayed in shape he could have been a 1st ballot HoFer type.

Well you never know really, and like I said I can't state one way or the other because I haven't really read anything about it.
I think losing Prado/Chipper could impact the Braves more from a leadership perspective because they are so young. McCann/Hudson need to really step up as they are the veteran leadership in that clubhouse. Bringing Chipper back would be huge even if he is only good for 100-110 games on the year.

Like I said earlier, I think we should consider starting the season with Heyward and Simmons as the 1-2. Simmons looked good in limited ABs last year, but I think we need to find out a little more about him before putting him in a position where he could faceplant.

He can play 2B/SS and possibly fill in at 3B has some pop and adequate defensively. They have about 10 million to play with and he wouldn't be expensive probably in 2 million range

Made 6.3 million last year, about to be 31 coming off a .225/.313/.365 season... and no offers to this point so maybe 3 million

I can see that. 3 or 4 million on a 1 year deal to build his value back up. I mean Keppinger got a 3 year deal at 4 and Johnson offers more offensive potential. Ryan Roberts got 2.95 on a 1 year deal too.

Maybe. He and J-Up are the only two guys on the roster who have a true leadoff skill set. It's kind of a waste to put someone with power in that spot, but it may have to be done.
