.... Could Delgado and Teheran start off the season in Gwinnett?

I'm curious how we address our 3B/LF issue. Obviously Chippers is going to miss even more games next year.

I don't disagree. But might be worth it for the longterm picture of the franchise.

Frank has some decisions to make this offseason

Going to be one of the most interesting as we've had in awhile

He had a REALLY bad year after having a good one.

And notice the word 'may.' I never said 'was.'

Of course I still think Prado is better but what if he repeats this performance next year?

Agreed.

Also, what do you do positionally?

Seemingly everything is set for next year... except SS.. and we aren't going to shell out for someone like Hanley or whoever because we have such faith in Pastornicky.

I guess LF is our only other "open" position.

eta: I only say that because Prado is prob who we are planning to move to 3B.

Jurrjens will be traded. no reason to keep him around with the amount of young pitching talent they have and how injury prone JJ is.

But really, what do you do?

Huddy - not going anywhere
Hanson - highly doubt he's moved
Jurrjens - could be moved, but at this point, value may not be good
Beachy - going nowhere
Lowe - old, declining...
Teheran - are you going to stash him in AAA AGAIN? He's done all he can there...
Delgado - Probably ready as well, but you can at least stash him in AAA for a while

Do whatever it takes to get rid of Lowe and trade Jurrjens if we get the player we want in return.

If we can make a decent deal for Jurrjens...

Huddy
Hanson
Beachy
Teheran
Minor

Keep Delgado in the minors until Huddy retires.

Exactly. I mean what can you do. Which is another reason why I really have no idea what direction we will be going in.

You literally have ZERO open spots on this team other than potentially SS, and too many guys for the rotation.

Is it possible we package one of our position guys with a pitcher for an upgrade, maybe even Heyward? Very doubtful, but who fricking knows. I usually have a good idea how this team is going to approach the offseason but not this year. I can't even give a prediction at this point in time.
