I think he starts Chip off batting 3rd. Gives it about a month or a yearly Chip injury (whichever comes first), and then makes the necessary adjustment to put Chipper batting 2nd and anything else he can manage to frick up, lineup wise from that point forward.

Are you ready for Caged to premiere?

Geez, we really do have some good bats, to the point where I have a hard time putting anyone of those guys in the 7 hole. Sucks that everyone underperforms.

I meant to DVR it, but forgot. I heard it was utter garbage and a disgrace to Shreveport/Bossier (although they are from the white trash town of Minden)

That's pretty much the lineup I would use. Maybe switch Prado and Heyward. I know that doesn't give Mac the "protection" behind him, but Heyward needs to prove that he can actually hit the damn ball before he is rewarded. If J-Hey turns it around, I could see us maybe moving him up to #2 to give us some more speed on the bases, then dropping Chipper to behind Mac.
Edit: if chip can stay healthy, he could give us a solid bat to turn the lineup over and keep producing hits/runs. They say hitting is contagious, so maybe if 1-6 can get a hit, that will influence little Nicky (pastornicky) to bump up his game.

I don't even know why the frick we're going after that guy. The dude had the exact same OBP as Heyward this year, and Heyward was complete shite.
He is right handed, he can play all 3 OF spots, and he has the ability to hit ~25 HRs. He doesn't really fit in with what we need though. We need to improve the bottom of the lineup and find someone to hit leadoff in the not so distant future. We do not need to go out and give up the farm for a middle of the lineup guy who never gets on base, strikes out a lot, and hits for far less power than his HR totals indicate.
As for Chipper hitting 3rd next year, I don't see it happening. Well...I am not letting myself see it happen. Refusing to treat Chipper like a sacred cow is literally the only thing that Fredi has done that didn't make me want to pull my hair out.

So we are in agreeance that we like Jones, Andino for Jurrjens, Prado, Minor, and Salcedo?
For awhile, I thought I talked some sense into these fricks.
I don't know what they don't understand about one of our top pitchers not being included, and it doesn't look like Prado would be included anymore either.
They are so damn ignorant to the point where I'm getting frustrated

This isn't the best lineup, but Fredi loves L/R/L/R and loves Chipper.

This makes no sense when he is absolutely atrocious against LH pitching.

Agreed.

That's probably the lineup we go with, but not the one I'd use. Pretty sure I read somewhere in this offseason Fredi wanted to bat Heyward 2nd. I might be making that up.
I actually like Prado down in the lineup like that. Gives him more freedom with his bat and he's one of the more clutch hitters we have it seems.

If Heyward can turn it around this is what I WANT to see:
CF Bourne
RF Heyward
2B Uggla
C McCann
1B Freeman
3B Jones
LF Prado
SS Little Nicky
P Huddy

I know. Yet another reason I want nothing to do with him. I was just listing potential reasons our FO has expressed interest in him.

I like Freddie batting cleanup. For whatever reason he really seemed to thrive in that spot.
