How would yall feel if we signed Alphonso Soriano for pretty cheap? He would be a solid 4th outfielder to split time with Heyward until he gets things straight.

Yes but I'm sure they would eat half of that to get rid of him. Even if that happens 9M is way too much for a 4th outfielder.

It's actually not that bad of an idea of they paid $15m+ of his contract, he wasn't a completely awful outfielder, and he came to play everyday.

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't Freeman play LF in some sort of capacity (HS, Winter ball) or anything like that?
If so, hear me out lol...we trade Prado and JJ for whatever we need, and then we pursue Prince Fielder for first base. We would have LF power, and 1st base power, as well as getting a decent return for JJ and Prado.
