Also, its a shame that Venters and Kimbrel, who had fantastic years, will likely be remembered for a couple of games down the stretch.

I hope they both really take care of themselves via good diet and the best possible off season workouts because Fredi tried to kill them this year.

Kimbrel better still win the damn ROTY.

I don't believe so other than the fake braves fans thinking we were gonna get Kemp for him straight up

His name was never thrown around seriously

Mac wasn't 100%. That was pretty obvious. Too bad we only felt the need to start Ross 4 games in the month of September.

Yet another awful managerial decision. Shocking.

Yeah I was about to say that worked out BIG time for the Braves.

I wouldnt say big time because we havent had anyone from that trade contribute consistently to the major league roster. Cabrera stunk, Dunn was packaged in the Uggla trade and Vizcaino hasnt proven anything yet. I do believe in the end it will work out well if Vizcaino pitches to his potential and Uggla returns to form. At the time the deal was made though and based on how Vazquez pitched the previous season the yankees got the better end of the deal on paper.

Fredi flat out panicked in September when we hit the skids. He started throwing shite against the wall and praying for something to stick.

My favorite tonight was letting Diaz face the RHP Worley then bringing in Jhey as a defensive sub the next half inning. All you can do is to stop the

I thought I was drunk and slept threw an inning or something when I saw that. I was baffled to say the least

That's a complete lie. There weren't many people that thought Vazquez could handle the AL as he had already failed. Most smart Braves fans were happy to get Vizcaino, who was a top 40 MLB prospect at the time. The only people who were dissatisfied with the trade were stupid fricks who only can live in the present.

dude, come on. Anyone can be pissed off at his 1st half but the second half he hit .297 with 21 homers and a .940 OPS

Did you guys see the Fredi post-game locker room interview with Pedro Gomez? He was smiling and kind of mumbling incoherent replies to Pedro.

I cannot believe this guy is a major league manager. I truly believe most of the guys in this conversation could do twice as good of a job as him. No lie.

Cuz man, he was like 2 for 6 against Blanton in his career. And he would have been subbed in for Jhey when Hamels came in anyways!!!!!!!!!

But 2 years of Jurrjens >>>>> 1 year of an old Vazquez

I agree, but his trade value isnt that high when he has been injured every season.

And how high do you think I think Jurrjen's value is?

Honestly dont know what you think, but an injury prone, finesse pitcher value couldnt be that high.
