I know there is a clear drop off after Delgado, was just wondering who is next.

This is the Braves pitching situation as it stands:
1. Tommy Hanson, 24
2. Jair Jurrjens, 25
3. Tim Hudson, 35
4. Brandon Beachy, 24
5. Derek Lowe, 38
6. Kris Medlen, 25*
7. Mike Minor, 23
8. Julio Teheran, 20
9. Randall Delgado, 21
10. Arodys Vizcaino, 20
11. Sean Gilmartin, 21

*Injured and possible reliever

That's the order they are in right now as far as major league readiness imo. And all of them are under team control next year. There's no way they go into spring training next year without trading a few of them.

Also, Gilmartin obviously is unsigned and unable to be traded in the offseason even if he does sign. I just put him at the bottom of the list to remember he's there.

Honestly, I think we made the incorrect pick. We are desperately lacking bats on the farm. Our embarrassment of riches when it comes to pitching has helped to mask the deficiency.

Of course Viz may end up being a reliever

Also, I think there is a pretty solid chance that at least one of the big 3 will be called up to the big leagues on August 31st so that they will be eligible for the postseason roster out of the bullpen.

He would be dominant, but I really hope that's not the way we go with him if he stays with our organization

Yeah not taking a bat such as Mikie was definitely odd this year.

I am not high on Mikie, but feel that he would have been a much better fit for us.

He may end being an Eric Byrnes clone

Then Gilmartin gets lit up in CWS. Not what I want to see from experience senior 1st round pick.

Seeing that Pence is pretty much a highly functioning retard what does that mean Mikie is?

Me touting Bryce Harper before anyone else LINK

Going to try and find who I wanted in 09, I know I wanted Wheeler but San Fran took him. I didn't like the Minor pick at the time.

TBH noone really was when he was drafted, at least I wasn't.

but he added velocity and has pretty damn good secondary stuff, so he started striking out 11 guys per 9

if he keeps his walks down, and learns how to pitch a little bit better instead of throwing, he's going to be great..IMO of course

but everyone got so high on him due to his strikeout rates
