Yeah they would come along, which is why he's pretty valuable.

Wonder what it's going to take to get Josh Johnson.

Do you really want him? He is by far the most fragile pitcher in all of baseball. Too much risk involved for my taste.

I would think Teheran.

I'm perfectly fine taking a risk with the team we have right now, as long as we don't have to sell off a few top 10 pieces, though we would probably have to pay a bit more than other teams would.

And we wouldn't be stuck with him long-term since he's only signed through next year, so the risk isn't all that high.

Does anyone know when Teheran will get another shot at a start? September call ups?

Does not seem to be doing so hot in Gwinnett.

He does seem to get hurt a lot, but he's still been effective and has logged some innings

I'm sure we will wind up with Dempster.

This off-season is going to be huge though, absolutely huge.

I get the impression we covet and will make a big run at Greinke.

For that happen, I don't see any way they pick up Mac's option.

I wouldn't be opposed to dealing Mac and Tommy for a young OF and some prospects, then re-signing David Ross to start, and calling up Bethancourt as a back-up.

I think our roster may look quite different next year.

I can't see any of that happening, but who knows what they are planning on doing.

I have no idea.

eta: but if I had to guess right now, we trade for Dempster and re-sign him.

Pick up Mac's option.

Sign Swisher.

Trade for or sign a decently cheap CF.

I would be very, very, very surprised if they don't pick up Mac's option.

I just can't imagine us getting rid of Mac, in my mind he's a chipper style player that should spend his entire career with ATL and they need to do everything they can to make that happen. But I simply think as a fan and not in a business way

This means you think we got no shot/do not resign Bourn?

Mac could be gone in 2014, but not next year.
