The problem is you still have to deal some year with a ridiculously good division that doesn't get its runner-up into the CCG.

This is why I wish they'd get rid of divisions.
Just have top 2 in each conference play each other in ccg. Would be like another exciting round of playoffs and make the games infinitely better.
