How many times do you need a player arrested(no matter the reason) before you're just tired of it?
Even if he didn't do it, Reuben, you can't keep a girl around who is going to call the cops on you in the team hotel.
I don't think it's crazy to release a guy for that. Especially with his history.

It's just as believable a scenario to conclude it's likely Foster beat her, he worked with the team to quiet her down while promising to take care of her, then he beat her again which caused them to cut bait and start trying to poke holes into her story.
