With no rain in the forecast and the weather supposed to be in the upper 80s all weekend, you'd think these greens are only going to get faster. If they don't cut the rough and let the greens dry out, one would think scores get worse. Saturday is supposed to be windy as well, so that should make scoring more difficult
People said the 2023 US Open was going to be a scoring fest after Fowler went -8 on Thursday. Wyndahm Clark ended up winning at -10. He shot -6 in the first round of that tournament.

It's going to change drastically by sunday but man what a turd of a leaderboard this is right now.

I'm not blaming the course. I like this course actually. Other than the ridiculous 290 par 3 or whatever crazy distance they have it at.
I haven't gotten to watch any, looks like a lot of big names have just now teed off.

The Leaderboard being what it is and so many of the best golfers not being high up on it should lead people to think this isn't going to be one of those tournaments where the winner is lower than -10.
