I guess you are missing the point............
I myself don't care how many shots that they show by Tiger... BUT there are OTHER golfers on the course... He IS A HUGE DRAW... But they can go into overload by shoving him down our throats when there are other players that SHOULD get the same coverage............ Tiger could have a TERRIBLE day tomorrow and NOT even be in contention but ESPN will STILL show every shot he takes and have replays of shots that guys who ARE contention.. Its a simple fact... Its all about ratings.......................

Why wouldn't it be? They'll show the leaders and the biggest names. It makes sense to everyone. As long as they aren't missing shots from the leaders on the weekend I don't really have a problem with it.

No you are missing the point
Even if they do show every shot of tiger tomorrow, that would only mean on average they are costing you less than watching a single stroke of the other golfers....
Tiger will have around 70 shots tomorrow
There are 87 players in the tournament
So if they show all 70 of his shots, that means it isn't costing you that much at all of the other players. This is blown so out of proportion

OK.. I would love to see consistant coverage... I really don't care what Tiger shoots tomorrow... ESPN will anaylis EVERY shot more than every other golfer... Just watch and see..........

Five years ago, real relevant. Didn’t do anything for 4 years before that, hasn’t done anything since.

Good take. He definitely didn't win 3 times in 2012

Tiger will have 74-77 shots tomorrow and will probably not make cut either
He’s 12 months work from getting back in top form
He’ll challenge next year but just hasn’t recovered

That’s awesome, how many majors has he played in and how many has he been in contention for since his last major? Like I said, I wouldn’t be mad if Tiger won if it didn’t mean that we had to hear about it for weeks on end. I don’t hate Tiger, I hate oversaturation of him from ESPN and others.
It’s like 49 of the top 50 golfers in the world aren’t playing in this tournament or something.

There’s been 32 majors give or take a couple since his last win in 2008, so he’s only placed in the top-10 in nine of those tournaments. Yeah, he’s been setting the course on fire.

He's the biggest name in golf and draws the biggest crowd. I guarantee you I watch more golf than you do, but it doesn't bother me when Tiger gets shown a lot because I completely get it.
CBS' coverage blows, and sometimes they'll show too much Tiger, but the issue isn't them showing his shots. It's talking about Tiger or showing Tiger after he hits and missing someone else.
But they also do that regardless of whether Tiger is involved.

I'm actually on the edge of my seat wondering what kind of clueless drivel he'll come up with next.

Are you claiming that Tiger is back or that he never was ranked over 1000 on the tour?
Because I would like to laugh at you if you’re claiming that.

This is my issue with it. Like I said, I don’t have a problem with him and I understand why they show him on the course more. But come on, there are other golfers that have had better seasons recently than him that deserve to be shown more.

Yep
Frankly I’d like it if Tiger wasn’t even playing because he’s just not ready and he gets too much airtime. ESPN typically playing favorites as usual
Hope he doesn’t make cut
Spieth and Rory and others have earned the attention and Tiger’s game just isn’t back yet
