I think a lot of these guys are dirty. And while I love Fed, the fact that he barely ever sweats and is going strong at 34 does make you think twice.

The tennis world would melt if that ever came to light.

and u know what, I probably wouldn't care.

it's just that the extreme fanboys are quick to point out doping and cheating anytime fed's legend is threatened by another player. Nadal owns the H2H? must be doping. Novak is the new #1? must be doping.

fed still playing at a high level at what is considered to be way over the hill in tennis? not doping one bit.

So, I'm looking to bet on Nishikori vs. Gasquet. Research shows that Gasquet owns him 5-0 head to head, and everyone with internet access likes the Frenchman at home.

Any resident experts know if Gasquet has some type of fundamental edge, or if the head to head is probably just a small sample fluke?

Kei is the better player at this peak, but I think he has been banged up this year and Gasquet has played well. Kei had a 3 setter today with a couple of tiebreaks against Chardy, so he might be tired. I guess laying -120 might be worth some entertainment, but it's not great value.

Thanks. I'll lay off due to the possibility of Kei not being 100% and Gasquet playing well.

Well, well, well. Kei pulls out of his match early. Other than the U.S. Open run last year, this guy is just frail.

Pretty good matches up today. Murray boatraced Goffin. Novak up a set on Simon. Isner/Federer, Tsonga/Berdych, and Nadal/Anderson are set to follow.

fed's in a battle with isner in the first set, looks like it may go to a tiebreaker.

i say fed wins the tiebreaker then breaks izzy twice in set 2.

eta: NM, isner took set 1 in the tiebreak.

Fed whipped Nadal today. Sweet.

Djoker drugging up for another run. Dopers are the worst.

No no. Clearly you are the worst.

Is this tournament indoors? Doesn't Fed love indoor hards?

He does love them. Isner is a tricky out on any fast surface, though.

But, yes, it's indoors.

It's actually a slow indoor court, which is kind of rare. Not a coincidence that Nadal and Ferrer are still around, and the Fed/Cilic types are out.

To this day, I still haven't figured out which surface Murray prefers, and he may not know either. But he is dominating the shite out of dudes so far.

I think his game is best suited for hard courts.

And, yeah, he's getting geared up for Davis Cup -- playing really well.
