“290-310 is his landing area”
This bitch drunk? When Rory is going with driver that ain’t his landing area
He covered that bunker by 15 yards she was talking about

I guess I've never paid attention before, but is there always a 3+ hour gap between the morning and afternoon waves?

They must’ve expected 6 hr rounds

It's been wet in the 'Burgh lately. Course is likely going to play the easiest today in the morning. The afternoon groups will have a harder go at it as it dries out. If they avoid the thunderstorms tomorrow, tomorrow will be a tough test.
It looks like rain for the weekend, so the course will likely have less teeth on the fairways and greens, but the rough will be nearly unplayable.
If Oakmont get a dry week like it did in '07 the scores would be through the roof, as evidenced by +5 winning that week. But if any course, including Oakmont, gets softened up from rain, these guys are so good, they'll post seriously low scores.

nice. I bet against him 2 weeks ago TWICE and he burned me
Peacock needs to just show golf and stop showing the interviews.
60% interviews
20% Commercial break
20% golf
ESPN+ is far superior

I doubt these scores will continue but its clear Oakmont is playing very gettable if you hit fairways. Extremely penal in the rough.
So basically exactly what we thought would happen.

Fat Jason Day is on the back 9. Just have patience.

Fairways aren’t really important now either
Spain is 4/8 fairways hit and Rory 2/6

They are if you want to make birdie

Anybody that starts off well through the first 5-6 holes on the front nine should be able to post a decent score today.

Ready to see Bryson on back 9
Oof, so is he… bogey on 9

Lowry blew that one with a 4th round 76 and 7 bogeys.
Continuing that trend with a 39 on the back 9 today

Steve Sands’ ability to talk about Rickie Fowler in all situations is quite incredible

This is a problem for "the US Open should be 2 shots on either side of E" crowd (a crowd of which I'm a member) if that holds true the rest of the week.
