but Rory beat every single player you thought that had an actual chance of beating him. You never once thought him beating 155 players by two strokes, yet losing to Clark was a possibility
Is this supposed to be a gotcha point? What does it matter whom he lost to? He lost - in the very manner that poster predicted

They host again in 2039.
I'm sure they couldn't change that in 16 years

Bummed for Rickie, but he’s only 34 and game is trending. I think he’ll take away more positive than negative.
He will be back.

Tom Watson wants to speak to the Commish. And he ain't happy. Specifically, he seems to want to know:
“My loyalty to golf and this country live in the same place and have held equal and significant weight with me over my lifetime,” Watson wrote. “Please educate me and others in a way that allows loyalty to both, and in a way that makes it easy to look 9/11 families in the eye and ourselves in the mirror.”
Sounds like Watson wants to know what happened to the moral high ground. A player advisory council meeting is scheduled for Tuesday before the Travelers Championship this week in Connecticut, though Monahan will not attend.
Meanwhile, let's just hope our Commish can pull through his "medical situation".

Pride loves him some Rory.
Oh, and he knows everything and is never wrong in his mind.

Maybe Tom needs to go meet with the US-IC as well if he really wants answers...

I read the article espn posted about Watsons comments. It was interesting to hear that Senators(?) comments as well. He basically said the Saudis are now running the PGA Tour. Which everyone knows but is afraid to say it. Sounded like he wasn't going to go down without a fight. It's pretty sad how bad JM has botched this up. Sounds like more players than we think are pissed off too.
These next few weeks are going to be interesting.
