Red Oak has thrown two INTs early, one of them in the end zone, and trails Summit 7-0 early in the 2nd quarter.

Can’t believe pioneer made it this far (its actually in sharyland) but their offense apparently is insanely good. QB is going to UTSA

Yea. I used the names from DCTF. Assuming it’s just Mission ISD.

I’ve heard good things about their offense as well.

Eta - looked it up. It’s the opposite. Sharyland ISD, but address is in Mission.

Red Oak self destructing. Snap over punters head and he kicks it out of the back of the end zone. Flag down for illegal kicking and Summit will take over at the 2yd line.

These two teams played in district. RO won 37-16.

Summit has been an underdog in all three of their playoff games so far, so they are playing well now.

Just scored and lead 14-0 now.

Summit 14 - 7 Red Oak, 5:00 2Q.

14-14 after a Summit INT.

Tied at 14 at the half.

It’s weird

Sharyland is basically the bougie part of Mission

The school is only a few years old. Sharyland and Mission both have pretty good programs and now you have pioneer.

What’s funny to me is that the Texas HSFB Mafia (the media that covers the games, all good people) are the ones that basically determine what a high school goes by. But you’ll hear all sorts of names used for different teams.

North Shore, Houston North Shore, GP North Shore.

The Dallas guys are currently trying to figure out what to call Eaton HS in Northwest ISD. The other schools in NWISD go by Trophy Club Byron Nelson and Justin Northwest. But Eaton has been called VR Eaton, Northwest Eaton and Haslett Eaton. And I’m pretty sure it’s got a Fort Worth mailing address. Ha.

Summit gets a stop, 1st and 10 at their 40, 4mins left.

4th and 2 at RO 29.. PI gives Summit a 1st down at the RO 14.

1st and goal at RO 3, :43 left.

TD Summit. 41-38 Summit, :38 left.

1st and 10 RO at their 21, :34 remaining.

Sack/fumble on 4th down. Summit cinderalla playoff run continues. First state semifinal birth in school history. Likely ends next week vs DR/HP winner, but an incredible run so far.

Red Oak being decent is crazy. They are not all that far removed from almost setting the Texas record for most consecutive losses

That’s just coaching. They are in the most talent rich area of the state. The south Dallas I-20 corridor.

Duncanville, Desoto, Cedar Hill, Lancaster, etc.

I agree, but they are right over the line where it goes from south Dallas to rural. There's talent, but it's definitely not Desoto, Duncanville, etc...

Crosby 9 - 7 FB Marshall, 7:00 3rd.

FBM 14 - 9 Crosby, 4:58 3rd.

Start of 4th

FBM 21 - 9 Crosby, 11:14 4th

FBM 21 - 16 Crosby, 9:28 4th

Crosby 24 - 21 FBM, 4:52 4th.. this would be a huge upset

FBM 28 - 24 Crosby, 3:11 remaining

Crosby 31 - 28 FBM, 2:00 remaining

Crosby gets the stop..

1st and 10 at FMB 31, 1:38 remaining.. FBM has all 3 TOs

Crosby TD.. and that should seal the upset..FBM blocks extra pt, and could have easily returned it for 2 to make it one possesion game, but the guy who picked it up tossed it forward to a teammate..

Crosby 37 - 28 FBM, 1:17 left

Final.. Crosby beats their 3rd straight unbeaten opponent
