Since they entered the NFL, the Texans have won as many playoff games in that time period as the Cowboys.

From what I have gathered, there was a loss of confidence in his ability to get deals done...two in particular.

I wonder if they will make another push for Will McClay of the Cowboys? The Texans showed serious interest in January ‘18. Enough smoke that Jerry had to scramble to keep him happy.

He’s never going to be elevated to GM as long as he’s with the Cowboys, and Jerry is alive. However, his strength is the draft and player personnel evaluations. He doesn’t handle contracts. It would be an odd fit to bring him in after the draft, and put him in the middle of a couple of big contract negotiations.
