how different is this compared to LSU vs Middle Tenn St where RP was 20/25 3td's? MTSU is a Div-1A while Troy is DIV-1AA.
RP played the whole SECCG and was the MVP but he didnt play when a game was on the line?

when they played 1-AA, they were troy state
they changed their name to troy for 1A...it might not have been THE YEAR they moved up, but it was to differentiate b/w their 1AA and 1A status
