Shelton played pretty well tonight and Carlos was a little scratchy, but Carlos was more clutch in the end.

On the one hander thing, I feel like I have seen two great one handed backhands in my life, Stan and maybe Edberg. But, like you said, they, Fed, and Tsitsipas all have to chip that return. And the high ball was a massive weakness for Fed until late in his career when he got a bigger racket.

Definitely saw the "potential" of Shelton. He needs to find the consistency. He gets some incredible height on his kick serves.

Of course some of it is just natural too. Had a buddy with a 1-hander and he just couldn’t hit with 2 for whatever reason. It looked so awkward and uncoordinated that it was a waste of time to even try to work at it. I bet it’s the same with Stan, Fed, Shitsy, etc.

Fritz was up 5*-1 in the 1st. Lost that set in a TB. Fighting to avoid going down a break in the 3rd.

I thought it was cool to see two Americans in the Top 10, but they really haven't done much since.

Hurk is just kind of boring to me.

Well, that was weird. Carlos got up 5-2 in the third, lost four straight games, held to stay in it, then rolled in the breaker.

Carlos forces a third set. This was a decent shot.

Sinner and Tommy were absolutely pummelling the ball. Tommy hung in pretty well. Sinner and De Minaur in the finals tomorrow.

Short vid of a few lower-ranked women discussing how much they make/spend. I’m guessing the parents are supporting them because none of them are making money.

Pretty routine work for Sinner. Foe is supposed to play Griekspoor in Cincinnati tonight.

Fritz and Lehecka with a nice little 16-14 breaker to start the day. The wind is causing a lot of problems. The tournament is going to be in trouble if they get another day of rain delays.

Which one of y'all is at the Alcaraz vs Purcell match sporting the purple and gold MIKE shirt? I'll try to grab a screen shot next time they show him.

Purple shirt with gold MIKE (all caps) lettering. Must have been LSU Alum/ doubles player Mike Venus. Looked like he was in the coaches box area.
