I doubt he even plays his third match. Back to the boat and his newborn in Mallorca. 15-1 FAA advantage in aces today.

Yeah, he looks bad. It will be very interesting to see if he performs well in Australia.

Now that he is eliminated, I am curious if he comments at all about his form or health, as he is known to do.

I would guess it is just mostly lack of match play. And obviously he's just really old now.

Yes, very interested to see him in Australia.

It’s getting that time to go the route of Fed, Rafa had a good run. I can’t see him keep playing if he’s keeps getting knocked out in the 1st round.

Mates is there a WYHI consensus on Aryna Sabalenka?

For the record IWHI and maybe even SCPM provided I got a reach around

Her body isn't bad, but she has a scary joker face. I would use a paper bag.

Ruud wins a good battle. Fritzy tied the breaker after being down 1-5 and 4-6 in it, then Casper closed it out.

Ruud's sister on the left looks fun.

I wonder if Taylor is still knocking the bottom out of this.

Looks like Ruud took the scenic route after winning the 1st set.

Rafa is still lined up to play his 3rd match but Casper won’t have much to play for.

Shitpants with the early break vs. Med.

Can’t believe this is the 11th match in the “Man you better shut your F up” rivalry.

They showed whatever dustup from Miami a few years ago. Med was pissed. Courier mentioned that he ratted on Tsitsipas for getting coaching in a match and Tsitsipas unraveled. We need more of this.

It was nice to see Carlito show up and get his year-end crown.

I don’t know if there’s a stat like ratio of service holds relative to aces but Shitpants has to be near the top, if not #1. He’s just so consistent with that hard slice 2nd serve. It’s boring but crazy effective.

ETA: And right on cue he gets broken

Shitsi pulls it out. Unless I'm missing something, the semis will include Novak, Ruud, and the winners out of FAA/Fritz and Rublev/Shitshi.

Without looking at any stats, I am going to go out on a limb and say that Nadal would quite possibly be the greatest in this category in the history of the sport.

Forgot about Rafa (wild, I know). Yeah he would be a clear #1, career-wise for sure. He sorta has the same approach on 2nd serves too.

Ruud has to be blowing this for Rafa's sake right??

He did a fantastic job of giving it like 80% effort without looking like a tank. Rafa's serve was really working, but it may have been due to Ruud not wanting to put much effort into return games.

FAA gives Rafa fits with that slice and Tsitsi to Medvedev since they stand so far back on return. FAA very well could have beaten Rafa at RG. If you saw that match, he pushed Rafa around the court. MV is right that Rafa does it to everyone in the ad court.

He served pretty well and had the forehand going a little better than his other matches. But, I think it was mainly a combination of Ruud wanting to get off the court and also not being a great matchup against Rafa.
