Isner/Hurkacz should be a good one if you like serve battles. The over is 25.5 games so I'm going with Isner +2.5 games.

I am on Isner +160. Hurkacz doesn't have a good return, so I'm not sure I see any breaks of serve here. I'll take those odds for a tiebreaker coin flip match.

Not the worst bet, he couldn't find the court in his straight set loss to Draper. It was my first time really watching him and his open stance form and trying to make every forehand shot a 120mph winner makes it hard to watch when he's off.

Yeah and like Bunk always says he needs time to wind up that backhand and the fast courts at Cincy make that tough.

Emma is crushing Vika, which is fine with me. Bring on Nick and Fritz. Small play on Fritz for me.

Paul with a massive choke job up 2 breaks at 4-1 and drops the set 6-4.

I saw Shapo took the set, but didn't realize Tommy P. melted.

Big John with the win over Hurka Durka. You'd have to pay me $1,000 to consider watching that match.

Shelton takes the 1st set 6-3 vs Ruud. Shelton +4.5 games looking nice now.

Watch out for this kid.

He looks like a monster at 6’3… reminds me of Tsonga a little.

Seems dumb that some of these seeded guys (Rafa, Shitsi, a few others) would have to play 5 straight days to win a Masters event. And Shitsi’s in the doubles too. I know it’s not a huge issue for guys with their fitness but what if you get 1 or 2 days of rain? It’s also mentally exhausting playing all those matches, practicing, recovering, etc. Just make the damn thing 2 weeks long. And it shouldn’t be right after another Masters event to begin with.

Never thought I’d find myself saying “wow RBA looks overpriced” but I think Giron can def hang with him.

ETA: Let’s see if Nick tanks this set.

They did sneak Medvedev and a few other guys in for their R32 yesterday, but I agree that five days in a row of matches for others stresses the tournament out a lot. I went on Friday five years ago and they had a ton of rain. I was freaking out because I seem to remember guys had to play early on Friday, then later in the day. I figured Rafa would pull out. I totally lucked out and saw Rafa/Nick. But, it easily could have been Karlovic/Ramos Vinolas. This event should probably be two weeks.

Screw the heat. I think nighttime matches are way more fun.

Nick is playing at warp speed.
