I'll give you my 2nd rounder (21) for Lopez. Not a first.

As if Haren for Putz wasn't bad enough.

That's a quite simple way of looking at it.

The real question is whether the difference between Lopez and whoever I would keep in his place is worth giving up the stats of whoever I could get with pick #10. And I'm betting that the answer is no. Lopez is better, but I can pick up a starter or closer with that pick that helps my team out more overall.

lol

01/26/08 01:02 am ET Lester Earl Lincecum, Tim SP SF - Trades from Boo!'s Boo!ze Cruise

01/26/08 01:02 am ET Boo!'s Boo!ze Cruise Hughes, Phil SP NYY - Trades from Lester Earl
Tejada, Miguel SS HOU - Trades from Lester Earl

at that point though Hughes was looking like a more impact guy than Lincecum

I'd rather Lopez. Sportsline has Young ranked higher, though.

Yeah, I went and found it too.

frick.

Oh well... can't win them all. And amazingly I still have Tejada and Hughes on my roster.

If it makes you feel any better, it has nothing to do with you being the new guy.

I've been working on those last two roster spots for over a week now and can't get anything done. Everyone either comes back wanting my #1 pick for a scrub, or wants me to trade the Alexei Ramirez for a couple of fringe keepers.

If you have a bunch of fringe guys and want to move a few for picks, I'll do the second rounder (#21 overall) for Lopez.

It was really Geaux asking for a 5th for Pettite that made me say that.

I would come off Young before Lopez.

We'll have to work something out.
