Eh... maybe in a one-off league. Maybe.

Personally I don't think ANY closers are top 50 players, but that's just me. I traded a 4th for Heath Bell and he could be just as valuable as Rivera this year. Probably not, but he could be.

its hard to skim everyone's roster because they all are so cluttered, so i only have a top 5 now. Give me a few mins

I thought you were looking for picks?

Either one of those guys would be my 12th man. If you want to make a deal.

1. geaux- Top notch hitting. Top heavy pitching. Bottom end of staff is weakness at this point.

2. ME- well rounded. Best staff IMO. If the young guys improve, i prob vault myself to #1.

3. ronnie-nice OF of Holliday, Sizemore and Ichiro. If Ortiz comes back to full health, he;d be a great compliment. Burnett needs to stay healthy to compete in the pitching department,

4. cwill- hitting is stout with Fielder, Wrigt, Markakis and young studs Upton and Tulo ready to establish themselves. Pitching is MEH but i like the balance of his hitters.

5. Rouge- Utley, Vlad, Tex, and Crawford nice 4 some. 3 decent starters that can keep him up near the top.

6. Clams- No real great hitters, but a lot of good hitters on his team. Better hope Carmona rebounds if he wants to find himself back in the finals.

7. Sox- No sure where his team went? only has 2 stud hitters. Strong staff though.

8. Boo- strong, strong hitting with Pujols and ARod. Very little pitching unless Hughes and Price really break out. Could vault into top 5.

9. PCT- port has a rather old team, but if guys like Matsui and Thome can stay healthy, he has a nice core there. Pitching is decent with Danks leading the way.

10. Goodfellas- prob has as much upside as anyone in the league. Bruce and Cabrera good top 2 hitters. Has a lot of prospects ready to bust out in Wieters, LaPorta, Fields, and Gamel? will he keep them and they do nothing, or will he keep them and they earn starting jobs and perform? If they do, he could have a great team. Strong staff with Cain, Bedard, Billingsley, Gallardo, and Scherzer. Skys the limit, but i think he is a year away

just so no one feels left out

11. Red
12. TTE
13. Knat
14. Rick
15. Nobes
16. slump

I'm not going to keep Hughes... but I think Morrow will be the one to break out. And I definitely need to target pitching in the draft.

Yeah, but he's going to spend most of the season in AAA I'm afraid. Just no room for him behind Sabathia, Wang, Burnett, Pettitte, and Joba. I'm sure he'll get spot starts and will be one of the top candidates to fill in if someone gets, hurt, but I can't see using a keeper spot on him.

Sucks... I got him from you last off-season and he was hurt for most of 2008. I don't remember who for... probably a multi-player deal.

yeah. He had a decent year last year. Dont look at his AVG

plus he has protection this year with Holliday and Giambi

i think he could get his SLG at or around 500
