I would have made that deal, Ronnie. I also feel that Pedroia is a bit overrated as a Fantasy player. 118 runs is top notch, but 17/83/20 is replacable. He's good, but not first round material like Utley is when healthy.

i just doubled my hr output at the weakest hitting position and all it cost me was a fourth round pick

Utley is 31 and coming off hip surgery. While he still may be the top guy he is on the downhill side of his career. Pedroia is 26, entering his prime - the guy is already in the top 3 at 2nd and is all upside. Plus Ryan got a 4th rounder.....Ronnie you got fleeced.
