He isn't a free agent until after the 2010 season, and I doubt he goes anywhere. When he was disgruntled last season, the teams mentioned were St. Louis and the Dodgers. That's nothing but good news fantasy-wise.

he must have the top 4 pitchers in the league. Plus he got a worse catcher for 2009 who will be only elgible at 3B next year which kills his value unless he's the next Pujols but at least he got a non solid closer in the deal

Because I'm in the league. I'm just giving my opinion. Pretty much happens after every trade. Especially lopsided ones. No big deal. You got a guy you wanted. Good.

Fwiw, Phan, Sandoval should retain C eligibility for next season, and I expect him to be better than Doumit in 2009, but not THAT much better.
