Out in 120 something. Got blinded from 16,200 down to 8,500 and shoved with A8 (best hand I got in 2.5 hours) guy calls with KQ and hits a K on the flop. I've never played so conservatively and gotten so little respect fir a raise. The guy who knocked me out called 17.5k (leaving himself with 3k behind) with A8 and the other guy had AQ board runs out A4682.

I just want so bad to be successful at this and to be out and see donks get rewarded for calling AQ with A8 and win just blows my mind.

Blinds were 400/800 100 ante average stack was 24k and I had 8500.

I feel you. I've played in 3 ring events at that buy in for naught. The first time I was too green to really do anything. The last two I was card dead the whole time. It does suck, but that is the way of most tourneys. Getting lucky and striking at the right moment.
