So busbeepbeep is the winner of bracket 2?
If Kentucky wins...looks like emoney will win if Kansas wins. I got Kentucky beating Kansas 74-67.
The scoring is jacked up on this bracket 2. Champ game worth 32 pts?

If I get you the point break down for bracket 1 can you figure out the scores for the top 5 or so and see who the winner would/will be? If like to have an overall winner.

Here is how the scoring works for bracket 1 if you, or someone wants to figure it out,and let us know how many points the leaders would have compared to bracket 1.
Round of 64- 1 point per win
Round of 32- 2 pt. per win
Round of 16- 4 pts. per win
Round of 8- 6 pt. per win
Round of 4- 8 pts. per win
Finals- 12 pts. per win
I'd like to post the top 10 from both brackets on Tuesday if you guys can get me the top 10 converted scorers from bracket 2.
I will fix this problem for next year. Thanks to anyone who converts the scores for bracket 2.

In bracket 1 Shades has 107 points and has Kentucky winning. If Kentucky wins Shades will score 119 and win bracket 1.
lsutigersFTW is currently in 8th with 99 points, but everyone ahead of him has Kentucky winning. If Kansas wins lsutigersFTW99 will finish with 111 points, which everyone above him will stay at their current total. That will vault lsutigersFTW into 1st place and make him champion of bracket 1 (and maybe both brackets). Those are the only two in contention.

Meanwhile, in V.2..
busbeepbeep leads 2.0 with 122, picking 43 of 62 correctly! He has both UK and Kansas in the NC with UK winning it all. If UK pulls it out he will have 154!
Tied for 2nd place is TigahFan4Life and cwilken21 with 112. They both have UK and Kansas in NC with UK winning it all for a possible 144.
Let it be noted that V.2 went with the original scoring methof, rather than make up some stupid version. I will have to see if I can back and redo the scoring.

Wouldn't it be easier if the group 2 admin just changed the scoring settings?
quote:
Round Correct Pick
Round of 64 1 point
Round of 32 2 points
Reg. Semis 4 points
Reg. Finals 8 points
Semifinals 16 points
Championship 32 points
Maximum Possible 192 points

Check my last post
But yeah, i'll do that right now. But the model that pool one went by isn't this

Or are you just quoting the system we are going by?
Eta- it appears I cannot change the scoring setting, someone, (hopefully not me), will have to go plug in the lame arse scoring system from pool 1

Yes.
Should've used TD username.
Sooo, if UK wins, do i win this bish or not?
Posted on 4/1/12 at 10:38 pm to Lieutenant Dan
Yes if Kentucky wins you win bracket 1. You were supposed to use your username as your tourney name (says it in OP)...but congrats on winning if Kentucky pulls it off.
To the avatiger guy from bracket 2...this is the scoring system that has been used for 6 years. I will probably just go with yahoos default after this year and make multiple brackets for when the first one fills up so we don't run into this problem again. The brackets were set this way bc of suggestions from TD members that joined in the first year.

You'd rather 1,2,4,6,8,12???
I have no problem using whatever scoring system the majority wants. This one has been in place for 6 years. Ava was just bitching saying his version (version 2) is better.

Im in 2nd overall in the 1st bracket pool on yahoo, with no chance of winning thanks to Shades. Do we know the prizes yet, if any?

You mean the default scoring system?

I started a thread on the help board asking and never got an answer. There never has been an answer that I know of..so my guess is nothing. It is probably hard with people (like shades) not putting there TD username. May be hard to prove who is who. I really don't know the reasoning.
As far aVa...yes the default scoring system.
