Kobe isn't even a Top 10 Laker if you factor in players who are great and played at least one year for the Lakers.

Not only responding to you but to anyone in this thread...
Tim Duncan is a top 5 player and better than Kobe Bryant, definitively.

Which LeBron meltdown may I offer you? 2010 Eastern Finals? 2011 Finals? 2013 Finals game 6 when he turned the ball over 3x in the final minutes to almost squander the comeback he led and Ray Allen saved his legacy? 2014 Finals remaining games after the Heat tie the series 1-1 returning to Miami? 2015 Finals when he GOT OUTSCORED BY IGGY in the pivotal game 4 then proceeded to play inefficient basketball the rest of the way? 2018 Finals game 1 OT tickle your fancy? Can I interest you in the 2019 season after he defrauded the country about the seriousness of his groin injury then proceeded to destroy Laker team chemistry the rest of the way?

Popovich notoriously limited his minutes.
Tim averaged 34mpg, McHale 31.

Well, this was the first one you listed, so let's use this one.
LeBron averaged 27, 9.4 rebounds and 7.2 assists per game.
That's a better seried than Kobe ever had in the Finals, with the possible exception of 2008-09. Easily better than his other five.
LINK to Kobe's Finals stats by year.
So, that's your example, and it's perfect. LeBron's worst "choke" is better than Kobe's best Finals.

I seem to recall all the talk about Delonte West and LeBron's mom threw LeBron off, caused him to be sedated before games. I seem to recall many reporters and HIS TEAM'S OWNER accused LeBron of QUITTING during this series and reports reflecting he appeared and played disinterested. I also seem to recall his epic choke job in game 5 AT HOME WHERE HIS TEAM GOT BLOWN OUT. Yeaaaaaahhhhhhhh

It can’t be totally stat based because as anyone knows rules change. For example Wilt Chamberlains stat spike is so pronounced before the lane was widened it’s ridiculous. The guy averaged in the low 20s once the lane was adjusted to the modern version and it was for 9 of his 15 year career. The championship argument was always the decider once a certain status was reached before LeBron and the opposing argument was created solely to prop up his failures.

Also a misleading narrative. If you don’t watch the games and are simply a box score fan you can’t know things like Lebrons robust averages vs Golden State in 2017 were a bi-product of Golden State’s strategy not Lebron’s performance. Golden state simply ran the Cavs out of gas in that series allowing LeBron to get numbers while burning up energy causing a gentleman’s sweep of the Cavs. LeBron played right into their hands but was celebrated for insignificant numbers.

I mean, you can post as many all caps words as you want, and you're still posting them about a series where LeBron played better than Kobe ever did in the Finals.
The more you talk trash about LeBron in that series, the worse Kobe looks. LeBron can apparently quit on his team, be distracted by Delonte and his mom and still be better than Kobe's best.
And you're arguing Kobe is better.

Their strategy was to let Lebron score a bunch?

Our strategy this series is to let Lebron put up incredible numbers.
Lmao

Not at all what I said but you can continue to lie if you want.

The strategy was the allow the Cavs to run themselves out of gas. It’s literally in my post yet you keep saying something else. By the time the 4th came around the Cavs were spent and the Warriors beat them easily 4-1. So all those 3 quarters of up and down numbers accumulation meant absolutely nothing. The strategy worked yet dumbfricks like you don’t care about the central concept of competition which is to WIN THE GAME. That’s why the entire comparative process had to be inverted for LeBron.
Thank you for proving my point class dismissed.
